Information you provide

This site has no account registration or built-in message form. If you use an email link to contact me, your email provider and mine will process the message and any information you choose to include. Do not email sensitive records unless necessary and appropriate.

Optional analytics and advertising

The site includes optional integrations with Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Google AdSense. The current implementation does not load these scripts until you choose “Accept optional” in the privacy controls. If you reject optional tools, these integrations remain disabled for your browser session unless you change your preference.

When enabled, these providers may process usage events, technical device or browser information, cookies or similar identifiers, and information about visits in accordance with their own policies. Google AdSense may use identifiers for ad delivery and measurement where permitted. Ad display depends on account approval and applicable consent requirements.

You can change your choice using Privacy settings in the footer. A change from acceptance to rejection prevents optional scripts from loading on subsequent visits, but it cannot retroactively erase data collected before the change. For complete withdrawal in the current tab, reject the option and reload the page. To request information about provider-specific data, use the provider's privacy controls.

For personalised advertising in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google requires a certified consent-management platform using its specified framework. The site's preference panel is not itself a certified CMP. A certified CMP must be configured before serving ads subject to that requirement.

Necessary storage and third-party resources

The site may save a theme preference (sp-theme) and an optional-tools choice (sp-optional-consent-v1) in browser local storage. These settings are used to remember your interface choices. The site also requests visual resources from Google Fonts and, for book covers, Amazon image hosts. Those hosts receive standard network request information when their resources load, independently of the optional analytics switch.

When you open external links to LinkedIn, GitHub, Amazon or project websites, their own privacy policies and practices apply. Those external sites are not controlled by this portfolio.

Security, retention and your choices

This is a static website. There is no portfolio-owned user database or account system in the published repository. Hosting providers can maintain normal access and security logs under their own retention settings, which are not specified here because they depend on the deployed hosting configuration. Email correspondence may be retained as needed to answer your enquiry or maintain legitimate records.
